Working for God
May 11, 2024
We know we are called of God, and being called of God is more than just being saved because we are also working for God. It makes no difference who we are, where we live, or even our age. We are called of God and working for God. Everything that we do should be leading up to our place in the Kingdom of God, even when working for God puts as at odds with others. We can look to Jesus who went to Jerusalem for one of the Holy Days, who found Himself despised for a simple act of healing. Imagine being able to completely change a person’s life for the better only to be castigated for it by people who claim to be the religious and moral authority. That was reality for Jesus. He came across a man with a significant disability who was unable to move himself quickly enough into the healing pools of Bethesda after an angel came to stir up the water. Jesus healed the man upon hearing this person’s troubles and told him to pack up his bedding and to go home.
Healing a person sounds great until we consider it was on the Sabbath, and some among the religious and moral authority took exception to Jesus not only healing this man but telling this man to pack up his bedding and to go home. Jesus later reconnected with this person at the temple, and afterwards when the Jews understood that it was Jesus who had healed this man, they persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill him. That threat didn’t stop Jesus from doing what needed to be done and told them that God the Father was working and that He, Jesus, was working, too.
John 5:1-17
After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.
In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.
For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.
When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.
He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk.
Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walk?
And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.
Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.
And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.
But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
Work has been part of mankind since the very beginning. When God created humans through Adam and Eve, he placed them into the Garden of Eden that featured every tree that is beautiful and good for food, along with the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The only tree off limits to people was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Adam and Eve were put into the Garden of Eden to dress and keep it. They had work to do.
Genesis 2:7-17
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.
And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Since that time no person has lived in the Garden of Eden and since the flood during Noah’s time, all traces of the Garden of Eden have been lost. That doesn’t mean we are without work to do. Just like Adam and Eve were supposed to avoid the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, we today who are called work to seek that which is of the tree of life while avoiding that which is of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. When we work, how we work is important. We are not to work and hate the spiritual work we are to do. We are to be doing everything we do as if we directly serve God, even if to everyone else all we are doing has nothing to do with God. That means we will focus to improve our interpersonal family relationships, and when we are at work, we won’t claim some made-up spiritual exemption so that we do not listen to our employer.
Colossians 3:18-25 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged. Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God: And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
We are not only working, but God the Father is working in us as we are God’s workmanship and created in Jesus Christ for good works so that we walk in them. It’s not sufficient for us to know what we are supposed to do and ignore that. We must walk in the good works that are expected by God of us. Unlike others not yet called who are influenced by Satan and what stems from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which leads to disobedience, we are called to what is righteous, and what leads to obedience, understanding that the calling we have been given, along with the gift of the Holy Spirit, requires faith on our part.
Ephesians 2:1-10
And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, by grace ye are saved;
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
We are called of God to be in His Kingdom, and we need to see ourselves as coworkers with God. As God works for the salvation of mankind, so must we. We probably have a physical job with other responsibilities, but spiritually we are all to be focused on the salvation of mankind, understanding that we first focus on our own salvation. Among those of the faith, no person is better or more important than any other, because we are coworkers with God, and each of us is also the result of God’s work with us individually. What we do spiritually now will lead the way for the reward we will one day be given.
1 Corinthians 3:1-9
And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?
I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
When God works with us, He is focused on not only giving us the desire to do God’s will, but the commitment to follow through and to do His will. There is not any reason why we should take exception to what God would have us do, because with God we need to be sons of God in whom can be found no harm or blame, and for whom there is not a reason to be rebuked by God. What we do should be so different than what this world does that it is like we are seen as lights in a world that has been swallowed by darkness.
Philippians 2:12-18
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.
For the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with me.
Paul reminded Titus of the need to establish a pattern of good works along with a doctrine of uncorruptness, seriousness, sincerity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned. Others who are not called may dispute what we teach because they are not yet called, but the content of our character and how we do what we do needs to be beyond reproach. Our calling is not a calling of double standards that can be found in this world, where some work for a person while trying to see what they can get away with. There are some who project an aura of righteousness while using their appearance of righteousness as a basis to take from others. Instead of living a double standard, we focus on living a life reflecting the righteousness that God expects of us, and when we fall short, we correct and adjust our life so that moving forward we are living a life reflecting the righteousness that God expects of us. We never live a life claiming the righteousness of God while surrendering to the lusts of this world.
Titus 2:7-13
In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;
Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Working for God means we not only have brotherly love for each other, but that we live a quiet life. We are not the people to be known for riotous living, nor should we live a life that is wrapped up in scandal that grabs public attention for the wrong reasons. As we live that quiet life, we also seek to do not only what is needed spiritually, but what is needed physically, so that we can live a life where we have lack of nothing, in other words, a life where we are able to support ourselves and our family.
1 Thessalonians 4:9-12
But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;
And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.
As we are working for God, we need to remember that God will not forget about us. When we are working to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom of God, when we have worked and are working to meet the spiritual and physical needs of others who are called, we are diligent and not lazy in what needs to be done.
Hebrews 6:9-12
But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Moses is attributed as the author of Psalm ninety, and in this psalm, we see the incredible work of God to bring people to salvation. We see that it was God who formed the earth from beginning to end even though how we consider time is much different than how God considers time. Through this psalm we see that God can quickly change the dynamics on earth, and even when our life seems to be lived in a world that is the target of God’s anger all the days of our life, all of that is intended to help us understand and develop wisdom as we experience the mercy of God, and see the work of God unfold not only in our lives, but in the lives of our children.
Psalm 90:1-17
Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.
For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.
In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth.
For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled.
Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.
For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.
The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
Return, O Lord, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants.
O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.
Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children.
And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
Proverbs shows us that in all work there is profit, and contrasts that to words that are spoken not backed up by action, which leads to poverty. Spiritually, our takeaway is that working for God requires us to do things, not only say things. We cannot be people who speak wonderful words without backing them up by action. Our crown comes through our riches, and in spiritual work we seek what is spiritually rich.
Proverbs 14:14-24
The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.
The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.
A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.
He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated.
The simple inherit folly: but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.
The evil bow before the good; and the wicked at the gates of the righteous.
The poor is hated even of his own neighbour: but the rich hath many friends.
He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he.
Do they not err that devise evil? but mercy and truth shall be to them that devise good.
In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.
The crown of the wise is their riches: but the foolishness of fools is folly.
When working for God we know that God is there to support us. We can plan all we want, and God will get us to where we need to be. We might think what we are doing is spiritually right before God, and God will evaluate that and as needed bring correction to our life. When we work for God, God will not only establish us, but He will also help us get to where we need to be.
Proverbs 16:1-9
The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord.
All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits.
Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.
The Lord hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.
Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil.
When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.
A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.
In everything we do, we are to do it with our might, and that includes when we are working for God. Once we die, there is nothing remaining for us to be done on this side of eternity, so we need to be working with a strong level of commitment to do what needs to be done.
Ecclesiastes 9:7-10
Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.
Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment.
Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun.
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
As we are working for God, we need to remember we are the light of the world that is set upon a hill, and our light cannot be hid. When people see us do good things and wonder why, we need to let them know that what we do is through God, and what God expects of us so that the glory belongs to God and not to us.
Matthew 5:14-16
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
We need to remember the words of Jesus who told the disciples that those who believe on Him will do greater works that He did because the Holy Spirit was made available after His death. Whatever we ask in the name of Jesus will be done so that God the father is glorified through the name of His Son. Working for God spiritually means there is an open door before us.
John 14:12-14
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
Working for God means we need to remember that God will provide our needs so that we will have enough time to abound in every good work. We don’t have to be so tied down to the daily grind that once our job is over, we are too tired to do what is good. Doing what is good should come to us at all times of the day and in the many different circumstances we find ourselves, and that should lead us to a place of gratitude.
2 Corinthians 9:6-15
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth forever.
Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;
11. Being enriched in everything to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;
Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;
And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.
Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
Working for God means we do not judge others caught up in a fault, knowing the very same could happen to us. As we are able, we help others get through the challenges of life as we remain focused on our own spiritual work, knowing that God will work it out so that just like a farmer, we will harvest what we sow, and what we sow must be spiritual that leads to eternal life. As we have the opportunity, we must do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
Galatians 6:1-10
Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
For every man shall bear his own burden.
Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Everything that we have been spiritually taught is designed to help us as we are working for God and designed to bring us to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. With what is in the Bible, for us there is no debate as we know all scripture is given by inspiration of God and designed to help us spiritually as we work for God so that we can be perfect and able to do good works.
2 Timothy 3:14-17
But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Even when we find ourselves doing our jobs here on earth, we are to do those jobs as if we are serving Jesus Christ, fulfilling the will of God. Beyond fulfilling the will of God when we do our jobs as if we are serving Jesus Christ, we will do an outstanding job, and virtually all employers value employees who do an outstanding job. When we go over and beyond as an employee in our human job, God will reward us spiritually beyond the paycheck we receive. If in our individual situations the role is reversed and we are the supervisor, we use that position for good and not for evil.
Spiritually, it makes no difference if we are an employee or supervisor because we all are engaged in a spiritual battle against Satan. Working for God means we follow that spiritual work dress code. We take the whole armor of God, clothed in truth, and protected by righteousness. Knowledge of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God leads us to peace as we can move away from the fiery darts of Satan, and we use faith as our defensive weapon, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the word of God as our offensive weapon.
Ephesians 6:5-17
Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:
Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Working for God means we know that God will keep us employed and not just let us go. The good work that God has started in each of us will continue until the Kingdom of God is established on Earth, when we are given the gift of eternal life.
Philippians 1:3-6
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Knowing we are working for God could cause us to be overwhelmed. Paul knew he could do all things through Jesus Christ, and so can we.
Philippians 4:10-14
But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.
All that we do working for God leads to one place, our salvation, and the salvation of others in the Kingdom of God. We know that at the sounding of the final trumpet we will be changed from living a spiritual life within a physical body to living a spiritual life within a spiritual body and have eternal life. What we do now has meaning and purpose. There is nothing we do that is without meaning and knowing this, we remain steadfast in the faith abounding in the work of God and Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:50-58
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
We are called of God, and being called of God is more than just being saved because we are also working for God. It makes no difference who we are, where we live, or even our age. We are called of God and working for God. Everything that we do should be leading up to our place in the Kingdom of God, and knowing this, we remain steadfast in the faith abounding in the work of God and Jesus Christ.
